With the Skistar shop, Skistar utilized its unique position in the tourism industry to create a seamless e-commerce experience for sports equipment and alpine fashion.
E-commerce was fully integrated into Skistar’s existing purchase flow. At the same time as the customer books a trip to Åre, she can now get a pair of new skis and a shell jacket delivered directly to the holiday destination.
I conducted a condensed UX audit for this newly lauched webshop by examining interaction patterns and identifying potential pitfalls in the purchase flow.
By performing a user study, I was able to identify a number of action points and propose how they should be prioritized according to Google’s guidelines for weighting business value against the implementation.
